Blonde Obsession vs Prismatica vs Fuel My Fire: Which Lotion?

Blonde Obsession vs Prismatica vs Fuel My Fire: Which Lotion?

Devoted Creations Blonde Obsession, Prismatica and Fuel My Fire are popular but very different cosmetic formulas. Two are bronzer-free enhancers, while one is an intense hot-action DHA bronzer. Their genuine UK pack sizes also differ.

At a glance

Blonde Obsession: bronzer-free maximizer. Prismatica: blue-hued bronzer-free accelerator. Fuel My Fire: hot-action tingle bronzer including DHA. Do not interchange these solely because they are from the same brand.

Which Devoted Creations formula should you compare?

Formula Category Warming effect Bottle / sachet

Prismatica Blue-hued, bronzer-free accelerator No 400ml / 15ml

Blonde Obsession: bronzer-free maximizer

Devoted Creations Blonde Obsession is marketed with RevitaFit and BodyFit complexes and a Sweet Black Lotus fragrance. It does not rely on a DHA cosmetic bronzer to create a surface colour. The original 350ml Blonde Obsession bottle and 20ml sachet are separate Shopify variants.

Prismatica: blue-hued tone-enhancing accelerator

Prismatica features a blue-hued cosmetic formula and ingredients marketed by Devoted Creations such as Blue Tansy, squalane and vegan collagen. The blue tone is a cosmetic feature, not a measure of protection from UV exposure. Its bottle is larger at 400ml, with a separately listed 15ml sachet. See Prismatica.

Fuel My Fire: strong tingle and cosmetic bronze colour

Fuel My Fire has a deliberately warming formula and a DHA bronzer. Supplier descriptions identify ingredients such as Blue Tansy and the Mango Madness fragrance. It is unsuitable as a gentle substitute for the two bronzer-free options, particularly if you have sensitive skin. Compare the warnings on Fuel My Fire.

How to decide between a sachet and bottle

The sizes below come from our actual Shopify variants, not a generic retailer image. Bottle and sachet variants are separately priced. Selecting a bottle does not include sachets merely because a photograph shows both formats.

Blonde Obsession and Fuel My Fire have 350ml bottles; Prismatica has a 400ml bottle. Blonde Obsession has a 20ml sachet, while Prismatica and Fuel My Fire each have a 15ml sachet. Compare price per millilitre and the exact formula rather than just the initial price. Our sachet guide explains how.

Frequently asked questions

Is Blonde Obsession the same as Prismatica?

No. They are separate manufacturer products; Prismatica is the blue-hued option and Blonde Obsession is a different bronzer-free maximizer.

Which one is a hot tingle lotion?

Fuel My Fire is the deliberately warming product, and it includes cosmetic bronzing ingredients.

Does a cosmetic DHA tan protect against sunlight?

No. Cosmetic colour is not sunscreen and does not prevent ultraviolet damage.

UV health information:

A tanning lotion without labelled SPF does not protect skin against ultraviolet damage. A tingle sensation or cosmetic bronze colour is not evidence of safer tanning. For reliable guidance, see the NHS advice on sunbeds and UV safety.
